Kyung Hee University School of Dentistry’s history began in March 1966 with the start of the School of Medicine. The College of Dentistry and School of Medicine were newly established in December 1966 to become the second dental school in Korea and the first among private schools.

After the education system was changed to a 4-year dental program in the year of 2005, the system changed back to a 6-year program in 2015. This became another milestone for our dental school to reinforce basic professional knowledge and clinical education, and to encourage creative research.

School of Dentistry's 50th anniversary ceremony and academic conference were held in 2017. Based on the past 50 years of experience, our history for next 50 years will be created with the faculty members, alumni, and students. We will also continue to develop as a leader of dentistry and dental education.
