Academic System
- Our academic system consists of 2-year predental and 4-year dental program for D.M.D. and graduate program.
- One academic year is divided into two semesters.
- One semester consists of 16 weeks, and a one-year program takes at least 32 weeks. Third and fourth year students continue their studies during summer and winter breaks.
- We created a list of standard skills for new graduates for general dental practice in order to guide our top-down education system
Curriculum
- Our curriculum consists of a core education program and an optional education program.
- Subjects integrate both lectures and laboratory classes to incorporate both theory and practical knowledge.
- Many integrated lectures have been established and comprehensive clinical courses are put into clinical practice.
- Voluntary programs are designed to include student research, clinical competency, off-campus training, and ethical education.
Classes
- Education comes in the form of lectures, seminars (20 students in one group), conferences, field observations, laboratory practices, clinical practices, and small group learning.
- The first and second year focus on developing core competence, while the third and fourth year focus more on clinical competence (with case-based and problem- based learning).
