The Korean Dental College Festival is a collective effort of all dental students in Korea. The festival includes a variety of activities, such as college sports league (baseball, basketball, soccer, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball), computer game contest, and a tooth sculpture contest. These events are quite competitive with each team practicing and training hard throughout the season.

Kyung Hee dental students hold the Ko-Hwang Dental Festival on a random Friday afternoon when the skies are clear and students are able to gather in one place. Students play sports, competing by grade level and show off their various club performances in the evening during a talent show. It is a day to refresh and recharge their bodies and minds before hitting the books again.

Every November, students from the dental colleges and dental schools across the nation participate in a team academic contest for the presentation and Q&A regarding basic and clinical dental studies, both of which are conducted in English. The schedule is announced in September, and the winners are awarded scholarships to support their participation at the International Dental Students Academic Contest.

After the first class of the first year, seniors from the various social clubs come to the first year classroom to introduce their respective clubs. At a following dinner, they also have a chance to meet club members and ask questions.
